Mobile Health Africa Summit is the first and only event focusing on Africa. It is an opportunity for all stakeholders to come together and channel key implementation of mhealth deployment in Africa. With Reported mobile subscriptions in Africa to be over 379M, it is the precise time to put more focus on the growth of mhealth is Africa and with the fact that mobile it perhaps the fastest and cost effective way to reach the rural areas in term of health delivery, the summit pose a great opportunity in discussing and learning more on the future of mhealth in Africa.
The mission of the mHealth Africa Summit is to explore the use of mobile technologies to improve public health, particularly regarding underserved populations; health research, training, and education applications; and delivery systems, in Africa. It is an opportunity to bring together interested parties from around the world working in the health care field to exchange ideas, to discuss innovative and emerging solutions and to develop collaborations in Africa.
The two day summit will have case studies from Africa countries where there have been deployment of mhealth, challenges and further opportunities will be area to share experience.
